Maitro is intentionally asymmetric: the ideator does not become a full-time operator or fund the build, and Maitro does not promise guaranteed revenue, conflict clearance, media coverage, or venture success.

Four acts

The deal shape before the numbers

The public page should explain the architecture, not leak hidden economics or imply legal certainty.

  1. Do not disclose employer confidential IP before the NDA and conflict review.

    Act I: You contribute

    A domain problem, your name as named ideator, senior credibility, reference context, and limited time for discovery and review.

  2. Ownership, IP assignment, and operating responsibilities are defined in signed agreements.

    Act II: Maitro builds

    Maitro and Talpro fund the build crew, create the venture, operate the company, and carry day-to-day execution.

  3. Royalty is not guaranteed revenue. It depends on venture revenue and the final agreement.

    Act III: You receive

    A capped, time-bound royalty when the venture generates eligible revenue, paid quarterly where contractually included.

  4. Specific channels are planned or subject to fit unless confirmed in writing.

    Act IV: Maitro amplifies

    A twelve-month brand amplification plan around podcasts, bylined writing, events, LinkedIn, and media fit.

The public wording must avoid guaranteed payout language. Royalty is a contractual participation mechanism, not a salary, dividend, or success guarantee.

Payments are described as quarterly where the final royalty agreement includes them and the venture has eligible revenue.

Cap and term are finite

The obligation is bounded by cap, term, and contract definitions disclosed after verification.

IP and employer conflict

Bring the problem, not your employer's confidential IP

Maitro can review conflict posture, but it cannot give blanket legal certainty on employment contracts, invention assignment, non-competes, or board obligations.

The channels can include podcasts, bylined writing, events, lectures, media quotes, and LinkedIn support. Specific bookings are subject to fit, consent, availability, and agreement.

Who owns the company?

No. Royalty depends on eligible revenue and the final agreement. It should not be read as guaranteed income.

What if my employer has IP rights?
